Lore & Flavor
Very few know why the Black King forbade magic.
Fewer know he once faced Aghanim, and lived.
The battle was brief, violent, and never spoken of. Aghanim’s spells shattered armies, but when they struck the King, something strange happened: the magic failed to bind him, the King kept moving, terrified, bleeding, but unbroken.
Magic still harms him.
He feels it tear, burn, and echo long after it fades. He cannot be held by spells, but every touch of magic reminds him why he runs from it.
