The primary function of this build is to deal as much damage to and stun enemies with Whirlwind, while bulking up your illusions and keeping them on top of your target. Phase Boots and Corrosion will keep the distance between you and the enemy you wish to encapsulate in Whirlwind as short as possible. Blink Dagger makes for a great initiation tool in combo with Whirlwind, and ensures the best possible fight. Blademail keeps the enemy from turning and killing you while they are in the Whirlwind, Shivas, Pipe, and BKB accomplish a similar goal for you and your illusions. Aghs makes your Whirlwind scale better and more impactful should you keep enemies in it, and Basher, Shivas, Overwhelming Blink, and Skadi will all contribute to keeping enemies closer to you.

The primary function of this build is to use the Aghs Shard and Scepter to run illusions or your allies in at the enemy and kill them with Evaporate while Whirlwind is cast on them. Whirlwind will be dispelled upon their death or cast on allied hero, instantly stunning any heroes in the radius, and the closer they got to your enemies the longer the stun lasts. Items like Force Staff, Atos, and Diffusal will make getting the illusions and allied heroes closer to your enemies, and Euls can help you set up a guaranteed max duration stun. Aether Lens will make these spells easier to cast in large scale teamfights. Items like Drums and Lotus are exceptional in combination with Perfect Storms item refresh, and even a BKB can be worth a pickup for this same reason.

BUILD #1 - High Mobility Carry

The primary function of this build is to amass farm as a split pushing carry that arrives to teamfights with huge droves of illusions that overpower enemies with Whirlwind buffs. Aquafinity will bring you and your illusions to whichever lane isn't being farmed, and can be used to get out should you get pushed away or need to enter a teamfight. Manta Style illusions are affected by Aquafinity, and combined with Ocean's Call illusions you can very quickly overrun an enemy with 6+ units all with bonus attack speed and armor should Whirlwind be active on atleast one of them. Manta, BKB, Bloodthorn, Abyssal, and Shadow Blade are great because Perfect Storm can give you two of each, and they allow you to stay in fights maneuvering to whichever enemies need killed first. Skadi, Heart, and Strength Blink will tank up your illusions, making them an even bigger problem.
