Taytarim, a nation lost in time like sands in the hourglass, its host preserves a brittle but immortal form. Everbreak was the pawn piece of the gladiator chess, but not to forget even a puny pawn can become the queen of the board. Jericho, the youngest talent of the sport, not very tough but witty, always uses her surroundings to her advantage. But at the day of Big Crumble, the city fell under a vast earthquake and with it its entire civilization. Historians have mistaken this for a natural disaster, however it was discovered that the grounds were enchanted, even sentient. The Big Crumble was no natural disaster, it was the ground dying, fighting for its life. As its last resort the ground bestowed its form and powers to the weak but witty Jericho. To her surprise she survived the earthquake, thinking she has become an immortal deity but forgetting how dry and brittle the grounds were...
