DESCRIPTION & LORE

Description

Veil upgrade for spellcasters, almost a magic version of Vlads. This is another item for sorcerers, primarily supports, who need to upgrade their Veil as the game progresses. Often on support you will sell Veil for another item once you can find more farm and teamfights start to pick up, but it usually results in lowered damage output in favor of extra utility (ie. selling the Veil for a Lotus or Scythe) and makes the whole Veil purchase feel very one dimensional and relatively uninvolved.

With this item you can upgrade your Veil to get extra stats that you will want and benefit your team more than other items at this pricepoint might if you have lots of spell damage in your draft. As well as this it isn't a bad choice for spellcasting cores, as they often only have 3 or 4 good items to build for their hero, whereas other roles in Dota often have many more options for what to build.
