DESCRIPTION & LORE

Description

Orb of Destruction as a neutral item was previously just a better Orb of Corrosion, and was fairly simplistic in that respect. By making it buildable out of an Orb of Corrosion and giving it a unique active and another passive, this new version makes the Orb of Destruction interactive, reinforces "attributes matter" play in games its picked up in, and gives heroes that previously purchased eblade for extra spell damage due to their high stat gain (ie Morphling) a new way to benefit from their stats that is arguably more useful to them due to the item greatly benefitting right clickers. Although the passive is less effective on ranged heroes, heroes like Morphling, Terrorblade, and Outworld Destroyer can still make great use of this item due to the attribute scaling and the increased range slow to 15%, up from the measly 4% that default Orb of Corrosion applies.
