Tormentors each drop a new unique variation of the Aghanim's Shard, twisted by the forces of Radiant and Dire, during their
imprisonment below.

In addition to being a regular Aghanim's shard with all the hero unique benefits, consuming a shard from the respective Tormentor grants the hero one of the following buffs:

Radiant Force:

The renewing influence of the Radiant Ancient enchants hero's mana pool, granting their spells and items healing properties when used.
Anytime you use mana for your spells and items, a percentage of the mana used is converted into health.
Health per Mana used: 0.75

Dire Power:

The ruinous influence of the Dire ancient enhances the hero's life blood, allowing them to draw power from their own suffering.
Anytime you suffer damage from any source, it restores you mana based on the damage inflicted.
Mana per HP-Damage taken: 0.3

Each hero can only have one effect. Effects aren't tied to which side you are on, allowing you to gain the benefits of the enemy Ancient.

If you already have an Aghanim's shard, the corrupted shard will override it.

Corrupted Shards come with effects on both the shard slot (Bloody Red vs Blue covered in foliage) and your hero (Blue or Red glow on the hero)

To balance the effect, the Buff is granted as a breakable buff, allowing you disable it with the right tools should a hero with it be too powerful.

The new shard is dropped on death instead of being given to one of the two lowest networth heroes on the team killing it, so that it can be given to the most effective hero.

Once every hero on a team has either a Dire or Radiant shard, killing a tormentor will grant the whole team, irrespective of which shards they own, their original buff on top for 2 minutes, with the intention of encouraging the team to take the enemies tormentor and then push highground, while the defending team can consider quickly killing it to break out of a siege and regain lost ground.
