Description
There are supposed to be 1-2 slots available for towers and the Ancient (probably depending on tier level) to buy items from the store.
Items can be bought from the shared team stash. Players can donate their own gold to this stash (maybe at particular game times for better balance).
The main point of balance is "Risky but Worthy."
If a tower is destroyed, the item will also be destroyed (the Rapier will be dropped as usual).
But just imagine the increased defense capacity of a tower with a Dragon Lance or Maelstrom, or the Ancient with a Heart of Tarrasque or Radiance. Or maybe aura items on a Tier 1 tower like the Ring of Basilius. I’m not sure about active items, but I believe they will not significantly impact the balance, because the majority of items can’t be effectively utilized by towers.
Items can be sold (50%), but the gold will be returned to the shared stash.
