If the mana replenishment would exceed the max mana pool, a buffer is created that increases the max mana pool based on the amount that exceeds it. This buffer is as temporary as well.
Multiple items only increase the duration of mana buffer in a single instance of mana replenishment, they don't increase the total amount of mana buffer.
