Unveil the backstory and characteristics of this idea.

The phrase "You cannot choose who you are." can never be truer for Lybara. Born an elf, he was victimized by his kind for his abnormally dark hair color. While the other young elves picked on him, the adults would make snarky comments while looking the other way. For years, Lybara had to endure this torment with no way out or no way to harm those who wronged him back. Until one day, while scavenging for scraps of food in the nearby forest, he heard a band of slavers talking about how they have no luck in finding elves. So he decided to strike a deal with them. "If you let me join your gang, I will lead you people to the elf village and more" is what he said to them. Needless to say, it was an easy proposal for the slavers to accept. So that night while the elves are sleeping, Lybara led the slavers right into their homes. The elves were not able to put up a fight. All of them were caged up like animals. The slavers got their slaves while Lybara got his revenge. It was a fine day for all involved (except the elves, of course). What is unexpected, however, is how the slavers never betrayed Lybara but instead extended an invitation to him to join the gang. Feeling needed for the first time, Lybara gladly casted aside his birth name and became Libre, the gunslinger and, eventually, the leader of the slavers.
