Beneath the curst of the world, deeper than caverns men have ever dreamed to name, lies the Glacial Chasm, a rift of endless frost, pulsing with rhythmic, planetary stillness. There, within the throne of silence, Shiva dwells. The final accord of balance, forged long before mortals drew breath. Once, Shiva was a scholar, not of stone halls or marble towers, but of cosmic mechanisms. She studied the core truth of thermic motion, the heat of creation, the frost of cessation. With her mastery over fundamental cold, she sought to preserve life by halting the wild combustion of the world's chaotic heart. But ambition breeds fault. In trying to cool the mantle, she fractured the surface instead, spilling oceans and fire into one another. An era ended in white ash. Ashamed and cast into exile by her peers, Shiva descended into the dark frost she had conjured. There, she bound herself to a cosmic ripple, a vast glacial rhythm that throbbed in tune with tectonic plates and breathing winds. Through this ripple, she cools the world not with spells or sorcery, but with a principle, she is the condition of cold. The arbiter of seasons. The great chill that keeps the planet habitable. Now, as volcanic magics stir again, and reckless mages tear holes in reality with flames they do not understand, Shiva stirs from her eon-long silence. Her frost is not mercy, it is preservation.
