The Masterless Spirit carries 3 blades with him at all times and switches between them as the battle evolves. Tanto: -0.4 BAT -75 Attack Range Wakizashi: Base BAT and Attack Range Tachi: +0.4 BAT +75 Attack Range Having Tanto equipped gives bonus movement speed, and Tachi reduces movement speed but grants Cleave. Kono is disarmed for 0.5s after switching swords.

IDEA DESCRIPTION

This hero is a bit strange and complicated, and likely busted in a couple places, but I'm gonna try to place out a quick overview of the intended roles this hero might fill and the builds I have designed some of the mechanics around. The primary mechanic of the hero is based on how real world ancient Japanese samurai would often carry 2 or 3 separate blades (called Daimo) of different purposes into battle, these commonly being a Tanto, a Wakizashi/Katana, and a Tachi. This hero and all of their spells play very differently based on the sword you have selected, and you can cycle through them very similarly to how the new Brewmaster cycles through 3 versions of Drunken Brawler. The default sword is the Wakizashi. This one is in the middle of the 3 and if you don't skill Daimo (Q) you will stay on this weapon and your other spells that change based on the sword you have selected will only use the Wakizashi bonuses. The Wakizashi abilities give lifesteal and an AOE taunt that also grants heal amplification and an HP pool increase. Wakizashi is primarily intended for a pos3 build that would be further buffed by the passive Blade Chill (W) with the Agh's Scepter. The smaller of the three blades is the Tanto. The Tanto itself grants a reduced base attack time and faster movement speed, but a significant attack range nerf, making your hero have the lowest attack range in the game at 125 melee. Tanto abilities grant mana break and a blink to enemy heroes that reduces the cooldown of Shuchu (E) to zero, making a Tanto built hero rely heavily on high attack speed and proc based items like Maelstrom or Diffusal Blade. This route is primarily intended to be a midlane ganker build. The final and largest blade is the Tachi. The Tachi passively reduces your movespeed, but increases your attack range significantly (to 300) and grants cleave on every attack. The Tachi's abilities grant a critical strike, and a long range physical damage nuke that benefits from attack effects, like the innate cleave, crit, and items like Skadi or Desolator. This route is primarily intended as the carry route. If you see anything out of the ordinary or unintended that I may have missed, or just have any general thoughts, feedback, or questions, please leave them in the comments! I'm also really looking forward to the update that allows us to make suggested item builds, and a hero like this would really benefit from that to help differentiate the builds that I had in mind when designing the abilities.
