Armageddon, The Arcane Mistake

Armageddon is an artillery type carry hero. Similar to sniper in playstyle I think, limited mobility but hard hitting long ranged attacks. I think the hero will end up hitting harder than sniper eventually, but has less cc and less oppressive attack modifiers. Armageddon has what I think is an interesting mechanic with the ultimate abilities where you can scale damage by purchasing attack speed up until a certain point. The numbers are probably not quite there and will either be incredibly overtuned or incredibly undertuned, but you can see how the attack speed interval scales on "chain repeater" here with this link https://www.wolframalpha.com/input?i=plot+y+%3D+1.2%2B1.2%28%28-x%5E2%29%2F160000%29+where+x%3D0%3A400 There is a small amount of synergy between polaric bolt and target acquisition where you can acquire multiple heroes in the bolt AoE and hit all units with Chain Repeater. Otherwise you'll mostly be relying on team work in order to get free hits off. I will have to wait for my DALL-E tokens to renew so I can finish the ability icons off!

Lore & Flavor

Deep beneath the surface of the Violet Plateau, Boush the Tinker and his associates opened a portal to nightmares beyond comprehension. A dark magic flowed from the portal comsuming everything it touched. Leaving the area in total darkness. After the Tinker and Associates had escaped or perished, the magic swept from wall to wall, englufing the contraptions left behind. A simple robot left stranded became engulfed by the Dark Magic breathing new sentience to the machine. The contraption radiated a purple glow as it was now a slave to the horrors that lie beyond the portal's entrance. As the purple mist spread outwards, the Dark Magics sent forth their new acolyte, Armageddon, to do their bidding.

This is a very creative concept, you can choose to be an artillery or a machine gun. I like it ,though I don't see a point in nerfing javelin as other heroes such as Pangolier also benefit from it without any loss of value. Overall neat.

It's just because of how the interval decreases as your attack speed approaches 400. At 400 attack speed you'll be hitting for 65% damage for 10 attacks per second. Having a javelin item like MK bar would be proccing around 540 magic dps (10 att/s * 70 dam * 80% chance) with just the javelin item alone. Just seemed like a little too much to me, but I could be persuaded otherwise. This is in contrast to someone like Pangolier who can get a flurry of procs off quickly, but it's bound by an 8 second cd.
