In addition, each enemy hero within a certain range of the repairing building will grant it a stacking health regen, armor, and magic resistance buff. After the buff wears off, it cannot be used on the same building for an extended time.

IDEA DESCRIPTION

A reworking of a controversial neutral item, reimagined in the same category as a Smoke, Wards, or even regular consumables. Now gains as many charges as Smoke of Deceit, and is used for emergency base defense. Unlike its neutral item original, this does not automatically heal the building it's placed on regardless of enemy output. Instead, it will only turn on backdoor and will only heal if the enemy doesn't leave the tower's vicinity, giving it actual counterplay by being a mere delaying tool, even against certain heroes that can go through backdoor protection. It's not even able to be cheesed with because the cooldown along with the inability to repair a building for an entire minute post buff means the defending team must have multiple heroes have repair kits, and can only potentially defend each tier 3 tower once, for example, after which they have no kits in stock. I think this is a much better iteration of this idea than the neutral item route.

One of the best ways of implementing building healing I've seen. Needing to have all 5 players there for the full effect keeps it from being broken. But I think it would make a lot more sense if ally heroes needed to be around it instead of enemy heroes.
