Enemies are not disabled or interrupted in any other way (ie they can still attack, cast spells, channel etc regardless of the direction they are facing similar to Kunkka's casting behaviour for torrent. Only their movement and facing angle are locked). After the effect enemies are slowed and have their turn rate reduced.

A cheap support/utility upgrade made out of Staff of Wizardy, Headdress and Wind Lace. The build-up makes it easy to get 2 out of 3 components during the landing stage. By combining the item, you get a Turn rate boost on the aura and a soft disabling active ability. The ability forces enemies to turn a certain way and thus limits their movement. After the initial disable, they have a minor movement slow and major turn rate slow. The active ability has a rather short cooldown and can be used often to disrupt enemy movement. It is particularly useful against heroes like Bristle, Mars and Medusa who want to face a certain direction against their enemies

Your edit is good clarification, but it still seems like a strange mechanic. I think you actually could make it a 0.75 psuedo stun if you made it single target. Could be vector targeted, first click a guy, then the direction you want him to face. Similar to your forcestaff upgrade idea. Even as it is now, 2325 gold for what is effectively a 0.75 AOE root is pretty wild.

I think it's cute. But the effect is way too strong for the cost. 500 radius is really big (for Radii, I like to remember that Arc Warden Magnetic Field is 300, and that that spell already has a huge radius). A 500 0.75s psuedo stun for 2325 gold is much too strong. Still being able to cast spells, channel, or attack doesn't matter when you usually need to face a specific direction to do these things.

I updated the text on the ability effect since I wasn't clear and it was confusing a lot of people. Heroes would still be able to attack/cast regardless of the direction they are facing while they are being pulled in (like Kunkka's casting behaviour for torrent or Pangolier when rolling) It only acts as a movement disable, so they can't move or turn.
