Discussion ; With the implementation of facets, Valve has created a large design space that is there be utilized, giving certain heroes with limited playstyles alternative ways to play them. The goal with this facet is to change Nyx from a win-more assassin with a weak early and late game, into a melee tank with a focus on trying to shut-down enemy mages and supports. With the proposed changes Nyx will have higher starting strength and strength gain, ensuring he is able to absorb more damage, will have to commit more into a melee style to be able to deal damage, and will have more control over teamfights by being able to initiate with a long single target stun, and by reducing the damage output of priority caster targets.
